Eden Care, the pioneering digital health insurer startup has been selected for the Y Combinator summer 2023 batch. This makes the company, the 1st Rwandan start-up to be chosen for Y Combinator.
According to the founder Moses Mukundi, the insurer was born out of the desire to transform healthcare accessibility in Rwanda. “Eden Care leverages artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cutting-edge technologies to deliver hassle-free, affordable health insurance solutions,” read a company statement.

Y Combinator, based in Silicon Valley, is the world’s most successful start-up accelerator known for supporting and investing in high-growth potential start-ups like Dropbox, Airbnb, and Stripe.
